1. PERFORMANCE TUNING & REMAPPING (STAGE 1, 2, 3)
By commissioning a Remap, the Customer acknowledges that they are altering the vehicle's factory-set power and torque parameters.
Mechanical Integrity: The Customer certifies that the vehicle is in sound mechanical condition. Secure Code Performance Ltd is not liable for the failure of mechanical components (including but not limited to: turbos, injectors, clutches, gearboxes, or engine internals) before, during, or after a remap.
Component Wear: Performance tuning increases demand on the engine. The Customer accepts that this may accelerate the wear of serviceable parts.
Liability Waiver: If a vehicle fails during a software write or during road data-logging due to a pre-existing mechanical weakness, the Customer remains liable for the service fee.
Insurance & Warranty: It is the Customer's sole responsibility to notify their insurance provider of any performance modifications. We are not liable for the voiding of any manufacturer or third-party warranties.
2. EMISSIONS SOLUTIONS (ADBLUE, DECAT, DPF, EGR)
Legal Status: Solutions for AdBlue, DPF, EGR, and Decat are sold for off-road, track, or export use only.
On-Road Use: Use of these modifications on UK public roads may violate the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations and result in an MOT failure. By proceeding, the Customer accepts full legal responsibility and acknowledges that Secure Code Performance Ltd is not liable for fines, MOT failures, or legal action.
Irreversibility: Some physical modifications (Decat/DPF removal) involve permanent changes to exhaust hardware.
3. BMW, VAG, MERCEDES & PORSCHE PROGRAMMING
Activation Services: We provide OEM feature activation (CarPlay, Android Auto, Video in Motion, Speed Limit Info).
Dealer Overwrites: Manufacturers may occasionally "flash" your vehicle back to factory settings during a main-dealer service. We are not responsible for the loss of coding in these instances, though we may offer a discounted re-coding rate at our discretion.
FSC Codes: For services requiring FSC (Activation) codes (e.g., BMW CarPlay or Navigation), once a code is generated for your specific VIN, it is strictly non-refundable.
4. VEHICLE SECURITY (CAN PHANTOM & SCORPION)
Authorized Installation: We are authorized installers of Scorpion Automotive and CAN Phantom systems.
Theft Disclaimer: While these systems are premium deterrents, Secure Code Performance Ltd does not guarantee that a vehicle cannot be stolen. We are not an insurance provider and accept no liability for vehicle theft, loss of contents, or damage following an installation.
Subscription Maintenance: For trackers (Scorpion), the Customer is responsible for maintaining an active subscription. We are not liable for system failure due to lapsed subscription payments.
5. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & FEES
Digital Goods: Software-only activations and remote coding sessions are non-refundable once the process has started or activation codes have been issued.
Remap Satisfaction: We offer a 7-day software warranty. If you are unhappy with a remap, we can revert the vehicle to its original stock file. A labor/admin fee of £[Insert Amount] will apply, and any non-refundable payment gateway fees (Stripe/PayPal) will be deducted from the refund.
Call-Out Fees: For mobile services, a non-refundable deposit is required. If a technician arrives and the vehicle is found to be mechanically unfit for the service, the deposit/call-out fee is retained.
IMPORTANT: Secure Code Performance Ltd provides high-performance automotive software. By booking our services, you agree that performance tuning and software modification are conducted at the Customer's own risk. Secure Code Performance Ltd, its directors, and technicians shall not be held liable for any loss of earnings, recovery charges, or mechanical repair costs resulting from the use of our services.
